Kaiāulu Community Days

Hoʻokuaʻāina hosts weekly community days. By participating, volunteers learn the traditional way of cultivating kalo and make meaningful connections to place and with one another while having fun in the mud.

SCHEDULE A VISIT

Please complete the form below to schedule a visit to Kapalai. A staff member will reply to your inquiry to schedule a date and answer any questions about your event.

  • Community service, volunteer days, or team events are scheduled on Saturdays from 8am-1pm unless otherwise arranged. Let us know what day you’d like to visit and we’ll confirm via email.
  • School visits are regularly scheduled Tuesday-Friday between the hours of 8am-1pm. A $300 site visit fee applies to a maximum of 30 visitors. Please let us know if there are budgetary constraints. We are happy to help find resources or make concessions.
